Dinghies and Watercraft Regulation

There is a new regulation which has been adopted by the Select Board prohibiting dinghies, kayaks, etc., on town property from November 16th to April 15th. Dinghies or other watercraft left on town property after November 15th will be considered abandoned and/or derelict and disposed of as required by the regulation. If you currently keep a dinghy on town property, be sure it is removed by the deadline. This regulation applies to town owned property only. For clarification purposes most of the shore on the west side of Great Pond including the areas on both sides of the Harrington Street Boat ramp are town owned. More information on this new regulation may be found on the town web site, Harbormaster Division - see link below.
