What's New at Great Harbors? Updated 6/24/08 Dock Decision We recently learned that the Barnstable Superior Court has denied our appeal of the decision from the Falmouth Conservation Commission. Judge Nickerson felt that the town was within its right to deny our request for a variance. We are evaluating our options at this time, but have a limited amount of time to decide whether or not to appeal this decision. This situation will be discussed in more detail at the Annual Meeting on June 28 th . Pool Opening Summer is almost here! The pool will be opening on Sunday, June 22 for the season. Facility Cards will be distributed at the clubhouse on that Sunday between 1-3 p.m. They will be available at the toll house if you cannot pick up them at this time. Annual Meeting The annual meeting will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 9:00 a.m. at the elementary school on Davisville Road. Ballfield Parking Please remembeber that there is a parking ban on the 3rd base line on the ballfield. If the parking spots are full, please find a place on the street. Better yet, leave the car in the driveway and bike to the field! This ban is in effect from July 7th to September 1st. Thank you for your cooperation. Falmouth Bulletin Does the Falmouth Bulletin appear in your driveway unwanted? Call 508-888-0000 to cancel. This free newspaper can pile up in your driveway and signal burglars that your home may be empty. Capital Assessment Letter The board has supplied the following letter to explain the use of the capital assessment. It describes the background for the assessment and the possible uses for the money.
