Swim Team
The Great Harbors Swim Team is a friendly and competitive team open to all Great Harbors children between the ages of 3 and 13. Whether you're a kickboarder (and even if you need a little help!) or year-round competitive swimmer- there's a place for you!
If you're interested in the swim team or have any questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to ask any of our 3 coaches- lifeguards Barry & Julee, and our Recreation Director Greg.
Swim Team Rules
The following rules will are strictly enforced. In order to be on the GH Swim Team, each child must:
- Attend practice
- Have a pool pass in their name
- Wear a navy-blue swim suit to all swim meets
General sportsmanship guidelines are also strictly enforced. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated, whether it be during a practice or a meet.
Any swimmer who voilates swim team rules or conduct code disqualifies themselves from partipiation in the team.
We ask that parents with children participating in a swim meet bring a baked good or snack to share with the other swimmers at the end of the meet. In fairness to all of the parents, we ask that every participating family bring something to share.
